Monumental and decorative art

The order of creation and reconstruction of works of monumental and monumental-decorative art in the Republic of Belarus is determined by the Regulation on the order of creation (reconstruction) and acceptance of works of monumental and monumental-decorative art, approved by Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated September 19, 2008 No. 137 of the Council of Ministers dated 14 January 2022 No. 26).

Monumental and monumental-decorative art includes works of monumental or monumental-decorative sculpture, as well as works of monumental-decorative art.

Works of monumental sculpture include works dedicated to important historical or other events, significant dates or famous persons, state, political, public, military figures, etc., who played a significant role in the history of the country or people.

The works of monumental and decorative sculpture include statues, reliefs, decorative and decorative forms, memorial (informational) plates, sculptural decorations of buildings and other sculptural forms that have an independent value or play the role of architectural elements designed to decorate facades and interiors of buildings. , squares, streets, which have a decorative character, which specify the architectural image.

The works of monumental-decorative art include stained-glass windows, paintings, monumental-decorative fabrics, mosaics and other works created in organic connection with the object-spatial, first of all, architectural environment, interior and exterior of the building.

There are 40 objects of monumental and decorative art on the territory of Zhytkavitsky district: 1 stele, 17 memorial signs, 9 monuments, 7 gravestone monuments, 1 memorial complex, 4 memorial plates, 1 memorial plaque.
