Memorial sign in honor of the 1000th anniversary of the Diocese of Turov

The Diocese of Turov was founded in 1005. It is one of the oldest Orthodox dioceses on the territory of modern Belarus. The bishops of the diocese were supplied to the department by the Kiev metropolitans. The Diocese of Turov occupied a very extensive territory. It includes territories that now belong to the Minsk, Gomel, Grodno and Brest regions. This monument was opened in September 2005. It is a stone cross, similar to those crosses that are in the Church of All Saints and the Turov Cathedral. This monument is a tribute Kirill Turovsky.
