This memorial sign is a stone, which represents one of the many legends about the origin of the name of the city, and the year when the mention of Turov appeared in the annals – 980. This sign is located directly opposite the Turov Hotel. From the location of the sign there is a beautiful view of the channel of the Pripyat — Strumen River and the beautiful embankment of the city. In addition, behind the memorial sign there is an information poster telling about the wintering places of local storks.
